Cereb further develops its business through the acquisition of tina-mottagningen
Cereb Holding AB (“Cereb” or “the Cereb Group”), with its majority owner Broviken Gruppen I AB (“Broviken”), continues to expand its operations through the acquisition of TINA-mottagningen AB (“TINA-mottagningen”). Through this acquisition, Cereb can now offer services in outpatient psychiatry. This is Cereb’s third acquisition since Broviken invested in the company in 2019. Funka Psykologi AB and Barnläkargruppen Sparta AB have previously joined the group.
The TINA Clinic is a well-established outpatient psychiatric clinic for adults in Billdal, in southern Gothenburg. The clinic is staffed by a qualified, multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, and psychotherapists—a total of about 20 employees. The company has a healthcare agreement with Region Halland and offers assessment and treatment for patients with conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and neuropsychiatric disabilities, including ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. The company also has framework agreements with several municipalities regarding the medical assessment of patients’ work capacity.

She continues , “The partnership with Cereb will enable us to grow our business even faster, especially given the many synergies we see between the companies. With this step, we look to the future with even greater confidence.”
The Cereb Group consists of two business areas: Cereb Psychiatry and Sparta, which specializes in pediatric care. Since 2007, Cereb Psychiatry has been a leading provider of psychiatric care in general and neuropsychiatry in particular. The company has a total of six clinics in Stockholm, Uppsala, and Skåne that treat children, adolescents, and adults for neuropsychiatric evaluation and treatment. Since its founding in 2005, Sparta has earned a strong reputation with two specialist clinics in Skåne, commissioned by Region Skåne to provide general pediatric outpatient care with an emphasis on allergies and obesity. In 2020, Sparta became part of the Cereb Group.
The psychiatric services are now being expanded not only geographically but also in terms of scope, with the addition of an outpatient clinic and a rapidly growing program for work capacity assessments. “Cereb Psychiatry and the TINA Clinic share the same vision of quality—with the patient at the center—and the same core values,” says Ulrika Östlund, head of Cereb Psychiatry, where the TINA Clinic is now becoming a very important part of the organization’s continued development. She continues , “With the TINA Clinic, Cereb Psychiatry’s operations are expanding both in scope and geographically, so that we are now well-established in all three of the country’s major metropolitan regions.”
