Broviken new majority owner in Corplus

28 / 04 / 2022

Broviken Gruppen ("Broviken"), which owns and develops highly specialised service companies, becomes the majority owner of Corplus AB and Corplus Syd AB ("Corplus"). Corplus is a quality-focused, fast-growing provider of interim services within finance, HR, and payroll, with offices in Stockholm and Malmö. With Broviken as majority owner, the company can now take the next step in its continued growth and development.

Corplus was founded in 2012 by Pontus Holgerson and Mikael Steiser and is today one of Sweden's fastest-growing agencies in interim services within finance, HR, and payroll. The business, which has revenues of approximately SEK 160 million with sound profitability, is driven by a competent organization with a strong network consisting of around 800 freelance consultants.

Broviken is a privately owned corporate group that invests in Nordic companies within the service sector, led by strong entrepreneurs and management teams. Broviken was founded in 2018 and, in addition to Corplus, has companies such as Forsen, Svefa, Attollo, and Cereb in its portfolio.

“Ever since Mikael and I founded the business, COR (heart) has been a central building block of our operations. COR (heart) has always characterized our internal approach and our interactions with both clients and consultants. This has enabled us to develop and grow with sound profitability. In 2016, Corplus was established in Malmö together with Jon Cervin. Early in our discussions with Broviken, it was clear that we share the view on how businesses should be run and developed with a long-term perspective. Through Broviken's investment, we will be able to continue building our business on sound relationships, quality, and a long-term focus, with COR as our foundation. It feels very good, and we look forward to working together,” says Pontus Holgerson.

Broviken has previously invested in NOX, Nikita, and Brightmill, which are companies operating in consulting and interim services brokering. As Corplus becomes part of Broviken, the group's service offering is further broadened. The companies' combined revenues are expected to exceed SEK 1 billion in 2022.

“The team at Corplus has built a fine business in an impressive way, and we look forward to supporting its continued development. We see many advantages for Corplus in being part of Broviken's cluster of interim and consulting services companies, as they operate in a similar manner and face the same types of challenges. There are many experiences to share and doors to clients and suppliers to open for one another. We are proud and pleased that the founders have chosen to bring in Broviken as majority owner,” says Jesper Wigelius, Partner at Broviken.
